Ripple
A faint wake as you move, rings spreading from every click, and a ring breathing over controls.
npx shadcn@latest add https://hoverui.fun/ r/ ripple.jsonAdds components/cursors/ripple.tsx. The CLI also installs the useCursor hook it runs on, once, into your hooks folder. The files are yours from there.
Move through the preview, then hover the controls and press.Open this on a computer to move it around: it follows a mouse, not a finger.

How it behaves
The pointer touches water: a faint wake as you move, rings spreading from every click, and a ring breathing round it over anything clickable.
Usage
import { RippleCursor } from "@/components/cursors/ripple";
export function Section() {
return (
<section>
<RippleCursor />
{/* this section now wears Ripple */}
</section>
);
}Put it inside <body> in your root layout to wear it on every page. Nested cursors take over inside their own element.
Props
- className
- Colors the cursor through currentColor, e.g. text-pink-500. To read on any background, pass text-white mix-blend-difference, as this site does.
- Hover targets
- a, button, input, select, textarea, label, [role=button], [data-cursor-label]

It runs on the useCursor hook, which has its own source and API.
More ocean cursors
- BubblesBubbles rise off your path and pop. They stream out over controls; a click pops them all.
- FishA goldfish that follows and waits just short of the pointer. It nibbles controls and darts off on click.
- JellyfishDrifts after the pointer in pulses, tentacles trailing. Glows over controls, clenches on press.
- GalleyA Greek galley with a wake. Monsters surface round it, the Gorgon turns it to stone, sirens sing from controls.
