Cloud
A little cloud over the pointer. It drizzles over controls and pours while you press.
npx shadcn@latest add https://hoverui.fun/ r/ cloud.jsonAdds components/cursors/cloud.tsx. The CLI also installs the useCursor hook it runs on, once, into your hooks folder. The files are yours from there.
Move through the preview, then hover the controls and press.Open this on a computer to move it around: it follows a mouse, not a finger.

How it behaves
A little cloud drifting over the pointer; over anything clickable it drizzles, and a press brings a downpour.
Usage
import { CloudCursor } from "@/components/cursors/cloud";
export function Section() {
return (
<section>
<CloudCursor />
{/* this section now wears Cloud */}
</section>
);
}Put it inside <body> in your root layout to wear it on every page. Nested cursors take over inside their own element.
Props
- className
- Colors the cursor through currentColor, e.g. text-pink-500. To read on any background, pass text-white mix-blend-difference, as this site does.
- Hover targets
- a, button, input, select, textarea, label, [role=button], [data-cursor-label]

More weather cursors
- ZapAn electric spark that crackles over controls. A click calls down lightning from the top of its area.
- SnowSnowflakes drift off your path. A flurry gathers over controls; a click blows out a gust.
- SunA sun whose rays turn slowly. They stretch and spin over anything clickable; a press brings an eclipse.
- TornadoA twister whose funnel sways and leans behind your motion. It towers over controls and whips round on press.
